grit and resilience
work ethic; dependable and reliable
My Personal Definition:
In my opinion professionalism goes beyond just grit and work ethic. Professionalism is also having integrity in your work, being passionate in what you do, being welcoming to everyone, being able to have open and honest communication, and being punctual.
Soft Skills Practiced:
Dependability
Critical Thinking
Empathy
Communication
Goals I Set For Myself:
Patience: It can be difficult for me to stay patient when experiencing something new. I adapted into a more patient person during my experience by practicing mindfulness as well as adjusting to the situation.
Time Management: During my internship I learned that when you have a set time to do something it must be done. This is something I have struggled with for a long time but after seeing how important it is to follow a schedule it encouraged me to fix my bad habits.
It is my future plan to become a physical therapist or an athletic trainer. I hope to assist those who sustained physically altering accidents in regaining strength and confidence back in their body. I plan to attend university and major in Kinesiology or exercise science to help increase my education for future use.
I have experience in working customer service, this has helped me further develop my social skills and has enabled me to communicate properly with strangers and friends alike. I have learned to work with others in an efficient manner while being on a soccer team with many other girls, this has enabled me to always do my part in order to benefit the team.
