Noodletools and Notecards

Opposing Viewpoints can be directly exported into Noodletools!

  1. Select Citation Tools

  2. Make sure to select MLA 8th Edition on the top left.

  3. Under Export to on the bottom left, select Noodletools then click export.

  4. Go back to Noodletools and refresh your page. That is the easiest citation you'll ever make!

EBSCO Explora

  1. Click the Cite button on the Tool Bar on the right.

  2. Make sure to scroll down to MLA format.

  3. Copy the citation.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

  2. Make sure to select MLA format.

  3. Copy the citation.

Citing Explora and Issues & Controversies

  1. Go to Noodletools and select the sources tab then Create new citation.

  2. Select Database then the type of resource you are using (usually magazine).

  3. When the editor opens, click quick cite: Copy & Paste a Citation.

Paste the citation in the empty box (don't worry that it turns blue) then hit the green submit button.

7th grade only below

  1. Open any Google app (Drive, Mail, Docs, etc) on another tab.

  2. Click the Apps checkerboard--then More-- then the Noodletools button.

  1. Select Copy Project--Verify that it is going into your account.

  2. When you get the green message that it was copied successfully, close that tab.

  3. Go back to the first Noodletools tab and refresh your page.

  4. You should now see 7th Grade AVD. Argumentative... under My Projects.
