Anna Hudson, a senior at our school, is a standout student who embodies the values of Kenmore West.
Throughout her time at Kenmore West, Anna has maintained a good academic standing while also being involved in multiple extracurricular activities, including playing for our varsity soccer team and participating in track and field. Anna says she really enjoys being part of the outdoor and indoor track because of the strong bond with her teammates and coaches. She says they all show great sportsmanship and cheer each other on.
Apart from her sports, Anna is involved in school clubs, including Community Club. Anna is also a link crew leader; she guides and supports 8th graders as they transition into high school. Anna says she became a link crew leader because she wants to be a good role model for the 8th grade students and make a positive impact in their lives.
After graduation, Anna plans to go to Buffalo State University to get a bachelor’s degree in education and become a teacher. Currently, she’s gaining valuable teaching experience at Lindbergh Elementary School through an internship with her former teacher, Mrs.Grosofky. While interning Anna goes to meetings, helps students with reading and writing, and makes sure they have a good understanding of the material they are learning. In the future, Anna wants to stay local and hopes to become a teacher at Lindbergh Elementary.
Anna is a great student to spotlight because she is an exemplary example of what it look like to be involved, ambitious, and earnest.
