Olivia Mock
Olivia is a senior at Kenmore West! She has been writing for the Blue Devil Beat for two years now and is the Junior Editor. She also manages the Blue Devil Beat’s Instagram account. She loves writing for the advice, debates, and fashion columns of the paper. Outside of the Newspaper Club, she is also a part of the SAVE Promise Club, Community Club, Link Crew, and NHS. Her goal is to pursue a career in Fashion Journalism after high school, writing and reporting on recent fashion-related events, hoping to help keep the industry alive and thriving. Olivia was inspired by her favorite early 2000s films, such as How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days, The Devil Wears Prada, and Confessions of a Shopaholic. These sparked her love for everything fashion!
Peter Koudounas
Peter is currently a sophomore at Kenmore West! This is his third year writing for the newspaper and first year as the Junior Editor! His favorite columns to write in are World Sports and Our World Today, often tracking real-world events and reporting on them in the paper! Outside of the newspaper, Peter stays involved in other clubs such as German Club and Class Council, even serving as president of his class in the past two years! He also does sports, playing basketball in the winter and tennis in the spring. Peter is looking forward to improving the newspaper and continuing to grow the popularity of the paper inside of Kenmore West!

Nina Parker
Nina is a senior at Kenmore West. She loves being on the website team for the Blue Devil Beat, serving as its Chief Website Editor. As well as the newspaper, she is involved in Community Club, NHS, Link Crew, and SAVE Promise Club. She is the Class of '27 Treasurer and serves as a Student Representative on the Ken-Ton Board of Education. She enjoys writing about mental health, our world today, and advice. Outside of school, she likes to read classic books, spend time with friends, and listen to music. She hopes to pursue a career in Human Resources, as she loves helping others in the business field. Nina believes that writing is such a powerful tool in today's world, as it can open up a world of opportunity and let you connect with others in your community with similar experiences and interests. She is so excited for her senior year and can't wait to write more for the Blue Devil Beat!

Ahren PaVel
Ahren is a senior at Kenmore West and a full IB student. He is in NHS and loves to participate in the School Newspaper, Environmental Club, Scrabble Club, and Tea Club. He likes to draw, write, listen to music, hang out with friends, and go to local shows. He believes that it is important to maintain creative spaces in order to have a thriving community. He is excited for his senior year as well as to write more for the Blue Devil Beat.
Maisy Fleming
Maisy is a senior who takes full IB and is involved in theatre and music. Maisy is a swimmer in and out of school and enjoys journalism and photography.
Andrew Digesare
Andrew is a senior at Kenmore West and has been writing for our newspaper since his sophomore year. Andrew is an active member of the theatre program. You may have seen him in past productions such as I Never Saw Another Butterfly and Hadestown. He will also be starring in Clue. Andrew is a part of the Save Promise Club, Community Club, Link Crew, Tri-M, NHS, and Chorus Council. Andrew loves writing, which is why he is a part of the Blue Devil Beat!
Analis Cirino
Analis Cirino is a senior, taking part in the school paper to not only improve her writing skills but to contribute to Ken West’s community. She enjoys reading, writing, and making art through various mediums. Usually focusing on the narrative elements of the media she writes about, she’s excited to continue writing for the Blue Devil Beat!
