The Girls Modified Volleyball team has been destroying opponents throughout the entire season! On October 28th, the team defeated North Tonawanda 4 sets to 1, staying undefeated on the year. Queens of the Court were Di Zin Myint, Isabella Cicatello, and Samantha Hunt. Everyone on the court showed great effort leading to this win. With one game left, they are looking to stay undefeated and cap off a great season. Congratulations to all the players on this team on a great season!
The Boys Varsity Football team destroyed the Kenmore East team on their Senior Night! The running game was in full swing, with Deontay Rodgers and Ryshon Carney having one rushing touchdown each, while Harlem Brannon had two rushing touchdowns. They combined for 287 yards and were the key contributors on offense. The defense had key stops and big plays to allow a shutout, with top players Michael Greene and Charles Hughes having four and three tackles respectively. They will now start the playoffs on Saturday at 2 PM versus West Seneca West. Congratulations!
The Boys Modified Football team capped off an undefeated season and went 6-0 by beating Niagara Falls on Thursday. This was the first modified football team to go undefeated in over 40 years. Congrats to all of these athletes on the team on a great season!
The JV Boys Volleyball team ended their season 9-5 with a win versus Lockport. Shout out to Mack Spitler, Remo Rose, and Robert Schaus who stepped up to JV after the Boys Modified Volleyball team folded. Also, the Varsity team is heading up to sectionals after a great regular season. Congratulations to everyone in the boys' volleyball program!
The Boys Modified Soccer team ended their season 9-2-1 after a 2-2 tie versus Kenmore East. This team has shown remarkable improvement since they lost 4-0 the first time they played East in September. The two goals were scored by Andrew Osiadlo and Peter Mulumba, with great defensive efforts from Sean Kane, Aiden Lovern, Travis Bidell, and Will Winkler. It was an all-around great effort all season long. Shout out to Josiah Greenwood on winning team MVP for his great efforts given to the team. Congratulations to all of these athletes!
The Boys JV soccer team won 9-0 against CSAT on October 11 with goals scored by Tar Reh, Mickey Smith, Aidan Follett, Kamar Louis, and Jack Pekarski. Great efforts by Wyatt Becker, Isaac Ballou, and Chuckie Sears as well. The boys played Lew Port on October 18 and won 2-1, with a goal scored by Marco Calvaresi who scored on a penalty kick, and the second goal scored by Brycen Wzontek, which gave them the lead and victory. It was an all-around team effort from everyone. The boys finished their season with an 8-6-1 record.Â
The Boys Varsity Soccer team won their first two sectional games last week. The first game they played was October 23rd at Kenmore West where they won against Starpoint High School. They won 3-2, with goals scored by Abdel Djibrine, and Jacob Murdie. There were great efforts made by Ethan Filbert, Elijah Lo, and Bryce Fratterigo. The boys won their second sectional game against Lockport in a 2-0 win on October 25th, with goals scored by Abdel Djibrine and Joshua Banaszak. It was an all-around team effort by everybody. The team will face Hamburg on October 30th for the playoffs. Best of luck to these players.
