You have probably heard of Zach Bryan, and if you do not know him by name you have most likely heard a song or two by now. Bryan’s music has been all over the media lately, and this is his story.
Zach Bryan was born on April 2nd, 1996 in Okinawa, Japan where his parents were stationed as a part of a deployment with the U.S. Navy. A little later in his childhood, he and his family moved to Oologah, Texa,s and he began to learn to play the guitar in middle school. He knew from a very early age that he wanted to be a singer/songwriter. Although he later enlisted in the U.S. Navy, he would write songs when he had free time and even released two albums named DeAnne and Elisabeth while serving.
Zach was released from the U.S. Navy with an honorary discharge to pursue music, which is exactly what he did. Zach would go on to release a couple of singles, one of his most popular being “Something in the Orange,” which ended up on Billboard's Top 100 for 66 consecutive weeks. He also released a self-titled country album which ended up at Number One on Billboard. In 2023, Zach was pronounced by the Academy of Country Music Award as Best New Artist and was awarded four Billboard Music Awards.
It is obvious by how quickly Zach Bryan has risen to fame that he has made an impact on the country music industry. I am personally extremely excited to see what he does next in his career.
