2026 Music Releases

2026 has taken off with a quick start, and as the year develops, there are many new developments in music. This includes many new announcements of album releases from a variety of artists in a range of genres. 

First up, Bruno Mars! Mars has announced the release of his next album and titled it, “The Romantic.” This upcoming album is not too far into the future; the release date has been announced for February 27, 2026.  This will be his first solo album release in over a decade, following the release of “24k Magic” in 2016. The lead single on this album has already been released, known as “I Just Might,” released on January 9th. Not only has Mars been making up for lost time with music releases, but he has also announced “The Romantic” Tour for 2026, so many things to look forward to! 

Another incredibly popular artist that is back in the game includes Harry Styles with his newly announced album known as “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.” Scheduled release for this album is March 6th with 12 tracks and a leading single called “Aperture” which was released onJanuary 23rd. Styles has also announced a tour following the release of his new album; the tour will be known as the “Together, Together” Tour, kicking off May 16th. 

Lana Del Rey has announced her next album titled “Stove” and it is being said to have a release date in early 2026, likely at the end of January. 

Country Artist Megan Moroney has announced her third studio album, “Cloud 9,” which will be released February 20th, 2026, with an all-pink theme. Megan Moroney has already released three leading singles for the album: “Beautiful Things,” “Six Months Later,” and “Wish I Didn’t.” Moroney additionally announced an arena tour for her new album in 2026. 

After her previously successful album “Brat”, Charlie xcx is back and has announced the release of her next album “Wuthering Heights.”  The release date is scheduled to be the same as Emerald Fennell's film, and the album will follow the dark British romantic theme. 

Along with the other amazing releases announced, a third Olivia Rodrigo album has been highly anticipated.  It has been determined that it is in the works, as it has been hinted at by Rodrigo. Although no release date has been given, along with no title, it is definitely something fans can get excited to look forward to! 

2026 is looking like a good year for music!
