In the middle of the village of Kenmore, there is a coffee shop called Spot Coffee. If you've never been, it's a quiet place to get work done, meet up with friends, and catch up. But if you have never been or you have been and want to try some new drinks or snacks, this is the perfect thing for you.
Natalie:
Spot Coffee has always been my favorite place to get some matcha or coffee and get work done. Some of my favorite things from Spot Coffee are the strawberry matcha with oat milk. If you have never had matcha or tried it before, and to you it “tasted like grass,” this is the perfect drink to start with. It has strawberry flavoring, so it has a sweet taste and is perfect for the warm weather coming.
Next, if you want a sweet treat, you can get a s'mores bar. This is one of my favorite things at Spot Coffee. It has marshmallows, chocolate pieces, and golden graham. If you are staying for a bit and want more of a lunch, I would recommend the Cajun turkey wrap. This is a wrap with turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and Cajun sauce. It comes with chips, and it is the perfect sandwich to share with someone when you are hanging out with friends. These are some of my favorite things to get at Spot that I think you should try for the summer.
Madison:
Spot Coffee is my go-to coffee shop to chill with friends. With the weather warming up, it is the perfect temperature to walk, which makes Spot perfect because it is walking distance from our school! It's a nice place to relax, study, or meet with friends (and sleep on the couch)! My go-to drink is their spring special frozen hot chocolate; it is the perfect chocolatey drink to keep you cool in the heat. For other seasons when the frozen hot chocolate isn’t available, I tend to get an iced matcha.
For food, I like to get one of their chocolate or banana nut muffins, and it is the perfect size if you're looking to share something with friends! These are some of my favorite things to get at Spot, and I would recommend trying them or going to Spot in general and trying new things there!
