Submerged in the water, your world becomes deep and dark. Too far under your breath cannot draw nigh. Cold and unlit the water envelopes you. You tumble and swirl.
Overwhelmed by the unfathomable depth.
You've lost your way, your thoughts are scared. Your hope is lost but suddenly, you pause.
You glance upward at the glossy surface. The water ripples and invites you upward. You start to swim just a small bit to begin, not sure if you'll succeed when you notice weak strokes lead to strong ones.
The warmth of the sun approaches. The surface is bright, the air is restoring, and the rhythm of your heart beats stronger once again.
