Meet Mrs. Orwig

Hello! My name is Andrea Orwig. I was born and raised in Kutztown and have been a life long Kutztown Cougar! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University and a Masters of Elementary Education from Kutztown University. This is my 31st year of teaching in the Kutztown School District. I've taught both kindergarten and 2nd grades at Kutztown and Maxatawny Elementary Schools. I am married to my wonderful husband, Jim, since 2012 and together we have 5 children; Carolyn, Tom, Madison, Sydney and Scotty. We are also the proud grandparents of 7 year old twin girls, Erin and Ellie, 3 year old granddaughter Avery, 2 old grandson, Grayson, and 1 year old grandson Will. Jim has been an educator for 35 years and is currently an administrator in the Marple Newtown School District. We enjoy spending family time together, being outside, going for golf cart rides in the woods with our dog, Chloe, going to the beach, and going on date nights!
