This will set the study up on your device. The app will prompt you to answer questions whenever you listen to music on your phone.
There are also surveys to be completed in the survey menu (available once the study is set up). Please complete the pre-survey within the first few days of using the app, or as soon as possible.

Are you someone who loves music? How about music videos? Are you someone who needs to see the latest music video by your favourite artist or do you only watch them occasionally?
Do you enjoy learning more about the songs you love or would you rather leave it up to your imagination?
Do you engage in other music-related activities like following your favourite artists' social media pages, or watching livestream concerts?
We are interested in hearing more about your music experiences!

All you have to do is download the MuPsych app and fill out some questions during your music listening experiences.
Participation is easy and flexible: Jus fill out our music question and the surveys – when it is convenient for you!
Once you have completed the study, a personalised listener profile will be generated for you based on your answers. This study is a fun way to learn how music influences the way you feel!

*Whoever wins the prize draw will be asked where they would like the voucher to be good for (popular choices in the past have been Amazon, H&M, and movie vouchers). You must send the code provided at the end of the last survey to Johanna at musiconnect.coe@gmail.com in order to be entered in the draw. The first draw will be on July 31st, 2023. The second draw will be on the 1st of December, 2023.
**Unfortunately MuPsych is currently only available on Android smart phones.
