We are a group of Sec 2 Hwa Chong students from class 2O3 trying to promote traditional kampung games.

In this website, we will be introducing the various traditional games played and more about their history! We hope that we can recreate the original experience of playing these games just like our ancestors did. With your newfound appreciation for these games, you can contribute by spreading the word to make traditions trendy again, just like in the past!

Our resources are catered for everyone and anyone willing to take the time to browse through them!

Main emphasis is the Secondary school students (13-16 yr old)

Secondary School students are active users of the internet/technology and often find anything not related to this topic uninteresting and useless. We as a group seek to change that mindset, in which in fact, traditional games are fun and will always be part of our unique 'Kampung' culture in which we seek to preserve.

We believe that Secondary School students will be the best audience to start with as students have a "willing to accept change" mindset, and in which will allow our project to be successful.

Our group feels that as technology becomes more advanced, more time is spent online and there seems to be a growing separation between the elderly generation and the younger generation.

But our project emphasis is not so much of the generation gap, but the actual loss of our traditions, the loss of the 'kampung' spirit that is uniquely Singaporean. Through our project, we intend to raise awareness of the traditional games in Singapore and other countries.
