A b o u t

Studio Ardent was formed in 2018 upon the merger of three former clubs. Hwa Chong Photographic Society captured the memories of many school events, Sensorium Vale did so in the form of videos, while PA/AVA was the club that anyone could turn to for help in sounds and lights.

And it was from these three foundations that Studio Ardent was born. As a media-based CCA, we inculcate in our members a multitude of skills much like our predecessors did - in photography, film and as well as sounds and lights - allowing us to play a key role in many of the school's important events.

In spite of many CCA activities being concentrated on school duties, the Ardent experience extends beyond the boundaries of Hwa Chong. 

We engage our members in various experiences, serving more than what we are accustomed to: our society. From cleaning up litter on beaches, to visiting photography exhibitions at our local museum, Studio Ardent aims to encourage our members, not only to develop their skills, but also their character.
