Thank you for visiting AISB's Human Rights Week website!
Here, you will find all the resources and information on the events taking place in the week of March 1 - 5. We encourage you to take a moment and explore all webinars & online discussions that you can join. It's a great chance to learn about our fundamental Human Rights and their role in upholding universal peace, and have fun while doing so!
If you don't have time to participate in the live webinars, check out the Day-to-Day Initiatives Page which will give you a detailed overview of all the activities that we have planned for each day of Human Rights Week along with the recorded interviews, workshops and activities that already took place.
Amnesty International works hard to protect people in difficult situations, where freedom and justice are out of reach.
As students at an international school we think it is important for our community to take a moment to recognise and learn from each-other about our Human Rights, as we all have had experiences with different cultures, people, and societies, and we are fortunate to be exposed to this intercultural worldview.
We hope to have an impact, if only a little, through this webinar to spark conversation and raise awareness around these topics. Our school needs this event because students need to be aware of their rights, as well as their privilege.
We hope you enjoy Human Rights Week as much as we do and are open for all your input, please leave a comment on the comment page, and we will try to accommodate your idea! :)
