Do I need to have experience in Computer Science to attend the Boot Camp?
No but you should know how to use your computer (i.e. browsing the filesystem, using the Web browser etc.)
Do I need to have a computer to attend the Boot Camp?
Yes! You will need a computer to attend the online meetings through Zoom and also to access our cybersecurity lab.
Will I get a certification from the School of Engineering and Computing?
Yes! You will receive a badge from the School of Engineering and Computing certifying that you have completed this bootcamp.
Is this Boot Camp free?
No. There is a $250 cost for enrollment. This would cover the necessary tools and the completion badge from the School of Engineering and Computing certifying that you have completed this bootcamp.
Why is this Boot Camp beneficial?
The general demand of trained personnel in this field is growing. This is a trend that we will continue to see for the foreseeable future. The portfolio that we are proposing aims to training SOC and, more in general, cyber analysts. Many of the small and medium organizations in Connecticut often do not have either the internal expertise or the budget to support these activities.Â
