Shirley Lanham has implemented the use of the Benchmark Advance Curriculum to support our Language Arts studies.

Benchmark Advance ©2018 is a brand-new, comprehensive English Reading/Language Arts programs from Benchmark Education Company for Kindergarten through sixth grade. This programs is built to address key shifts in curriculum and instruction to meet the demands of the new standards.

Benchmark Advance uses 10 units of study (across all grade levels K-5) to not only cover the College and Career Ready standards that our children need, but help to create depth of knowledge over the course of their elementary school life. The following pages contain the standards required for each grade level as well as useful links, videos, and games students can use.
