Hello Everyone,
My name is Barbara Freeman. I have been teaching Pre-K on Fort Bragg for over twenty years! I started my career at Butner Elementary. When they opened Hampton Primary, I thought it would be a great opportunity to teach at a 21st Century School! And I have been here ever since; seven years.
I was born in Germany and when I came to North Carolina as a little girl, I spoke only German. I learned English in Kindergarten. I grew up in North Carolina and graduated from 71st High School. I am married to my wonderful husband and we love to travel! I have three children, one daughter and two sons. My eldest son is married and thanks to him I have two granddaughters that I adore. He also lived in Abu Dhabi, with his family which afforded me the opportunity to visit the country while they were there. I loved it! In my free time, I love going to the beach, museums, and spending time with my family. We have a terrier-mix dog. His name is Presley.
I have my Master of Education in Teaching and Learning.
James 1:5 states: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him” (NKJV). It is my goal to impart wisdom and a love of learning to all my students.
Blessings,
Barbara Freeman
