Reports directly to SNSI/NSI and responsible to carry out any duties prescribed by them
Responsible for all activities and functions of the unit as whole and delegates authority to the staff
Sets the highest standard of performance, conduct, and military bearing as an example to all
Being the officer in charge during company formations
Resides on the executive board which decides all meritorious promotions and unit assignments
Executive Officer (XO) -

Duties include but not limited to:
Reports directly to CO and takes charge in absence of CO
Supervision of Cadet Staff
Leads unit staff meetings
Establishes weekly inspection watch bill
Resides on the executive board which decides all meritorious promotions and unit assignments
COMMAND MASTER CHIEF (CMC) -

Duties include but not limited to:
Reports directly to CO
Highest ranking enlisted personnel within unit
Supervision of platoon leaders and platoons
Plans and oversees the Chief Transition
Resides on the executive board which decides all meritorious promotions and unit assignments
ADJUTANT OFFICER (ADJ) -

XO’s assistant - Reports directly to the XO
In absence of XO will take lead of staff
Leads Staff Platoon during formations
Middle between Staff and XO
Knowledgeable of basic staff operations
Supports departments in need of man power or resources
Actively works in unit to help staff and cadets

TRACKING OFFICER (TRO):
Organizes and maintains platoon rosters
Enforces weekly inspection watch bills
ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT (ADMIN):
Organize and maintain cadet records such as:
Standard Release Forms
Health Screening Questionnaire
Sports Physical
Utilize the Citizenship Development Management information Subsystem (CDMIS)
Uses CDMIS to maintain cadet records for:
Enrollment reports
Awards earned
Inputting ranks achieved
OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (OPS):
Organizes and plans unit trips, events, and fundraisers. For example:
Field Trips: Beginning of Year Trip, End of Year Trip, etc...
Events: BLT at Camp Fuji, Dining Out, Shimoda, etc...
Fundraisers: Car wash, bake sales, etc...
SUPPLY DEPARTMENT (SUPO):
Oversees the distribution, and general upkeep of all uniform items:
Ensure uniforms are clean and well-maintained
Procure more uniforms in case of damage or mold
Inventory uniforms and devices for accountability
Provide Admin with required devices, such as insignia or ribbons for unit formations
Ensure that the supply room is maintained
Complete EZ-form orders
PUBLIC AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT (PAO):
Capture and publish official photos at unit events
Manage the KHS Red Devil Company Photography page on the company website
Advertise company events and results from the unit to the community
(i.e. newsletters, events, pamphlets, fliers, etc…)
Manage the newsletters that come out almost every two weeks
1ST LIEUTENANT DEPARTMENT (1ST LT):
Maintains upkeep and organization of NJROTC spaces
Prepares and transports equipment for unit events
Maintains unit equipment including team gear
ACADEMICS OFFICER (AO):
Maintains PAR sheet
Responsible for maintaining and constructing the Academic Team
PLATOON LEADER (PLT LDR):
Responsible for day to day activities of each platoon
(i.e. Physical Training, Professional Development, etc…)
Oversee the welfare and progress of their platoon
Ensures cadets are following regulations
Often act as a mentor to their platoon
Teaches and motivates cadets
Reports directly to CMC
PHYSICAL TRAINING OFFICER (PTO):
Responsible for the PT club
Records Physical Fitness Test grades
Sets PFT and PT days for the cadets
