SGA officers came to GHS before school started to provide breakfast for teachers as they prepared for the start of SY23-24.

Welcoming back the students of GHS for the new school year!

During the month of September we are honoring those who have fallen during the September 11th attack of 2001.
Student Council Inauguration
We are excited to introduce your newly inaugurated student council members! Officers were elected in September and officially inaugurated in October. Congratualtions to all the new officers!
Hispanic Heritage Month
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, SGA organized a taste testing of chips and salsa for the school with the help of the culinary students. Hispanic music was also played during lunches along with Word of the Days on PNN and Hispanic trivia on our Instagram.
Food Handlers Certificate
Thanks to our amazing military support, groups such as, STUCO, SGA, and the various honor societies we have were able to get their food handlers certificate. Many thanks to the soldiers who took time to ensure we had the proper certification to continue concessions.
Soak A Player
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month students were given the opportunity to soak an athlete from each grade. In the end we raised $600, all of which will be donated to Guam Cancer Care! Thank you to all the students and athletes that participated.
Guam High Gives Back
Guam High School students went around the island helping various organizations with cleanup and maintenance. Students visted places such as Island Girl Power, Ypao Beach Park, GU Sustainable, and more!
Tree of Hope
Students donated gifts to ensure that all children at the Merizo Martyr's Memorial School received a Christmas gift. These gifts were then delivered to the students by SGA and Stuco members.
Orange Wave
In support of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month students wore orange to show their support!
Black History Month
In honor of Black History Month students organized a taste testing, daily trivia, and a student-teacher kickball game.
Pep Rallys
Students show their school spirit and destress with fun games and activities!
Mes CHamoru
To celebrate Mes CHamoru students organized a culture fair and a vendor fair. The aim of both was to showcase CHamoru culture and support local businesses.
Purple Wave
To show their support for Month of the Military Child students held a wave and wore purple in support.
Field Day
Guam High ended the year right with a school-wide field day. The event, which was held at Polaris Point, had various games and activities for students to sit back and enjoy.
