JEWELRY and NAILS:

Rule 3, Section 1, Article 1:  Jewelry of any kind is prohibited except for the following: A religious medal without a chain is allowed and must be taped and worn under the uniform. A medical-alert medal must be taped and may be visible.

Wearing POST EARRINGS, NAVAL RINGS, NOSE RINGS, TONGUE RINGS, ETC., is ILLEGAL.  Wearing this jewelry but covering it with tape is STILL ILLEGAL.  Wearing a plug or a spacer instead is STILL ILLEGAL.  Even a hair tie on the wrist is illegal.

Rule 2, Section 1, Article 4:  Fingernails, including artificial nails, must be kept short, near the end of the fingers.

Please ensure you are educating your cheerleaders and enforcing these safety rules at all times.  Thank you!
