For the past month or two my class has been working on a project named "potential energy design lab". The purpose of this was to teach kids basic engineering and to make a solution to something while being as energy efficient as possible. A robotics kit was provided to create the robot, what robotics kit though? Lego EV3, released on September 1st, 2013, and discontinued in 2022 (I'm not entirely sure when it was discontinued though) was the robot we would be using due to its ability to allow kids to express creativity.
Our design was pretty basic, it was made to carry and move heavy objects that might be hard for average workers. It was originally supposed to use the Riley Rover grabber design to take down pillars and poles and things like that but I had later realized that the grabbers didn't move much so I switched to the cargo delivery design for things like boxes and other objects.
I was unable to find any photos of our design but this is pretty close to what it looked like so theres that
