Approximately $1,000,000 in lost and stolen construction tools could be prevented. (2019, Associated Schools of Construction)
We found that 10%-20% of assets in hospitals could be prevented from being lost. (2021 Altus inc.)
These are our early brainstorming sketches. For the antenna, we envisioned internal compartments enclosed within a protective outer shell. For the tracking sticker, we designed it to be approximately the size of a quarter.
Our technical drawings include three main components: the wall-mounted bracket, the sensor base, and the protective shell. The bracket is designed to attach securely to the wall. The sensor base supports and houses the majority of the internal components. The outer shell acts as a protective layer to shield the sensor from external damage.
This is the final prototype of the antenna that will be installed in various rooms to track and collect data on asset locations. The prototype has gone through multiple design improvements to ensure it can be securely mounted on walls and operate efficiently.
