I have been writing an original animated TV series called "Der Schwarzwald". It's about the characters from the original Grimm's fairy tales, specifically the characters of Red Riding Hood and the crazy adventures that they go on. In my free time, I like writing screenplays, drawing costumes & background designs, and my very own fan art!

Acomplishment!

In October of 2022, I submitted my Pilot episode of "Der Schwarzwald" to the Back to School Screenplay contest at the Dr. Barbara Seniors Harkins Foundation. After months of patiently waiting, I won first prize!

Character Descriptions

Red: She's the protagonist of the story, entering into the black forest for the first time in forever. When her Oma goes missing, she makes it her sole purpose to find her along with friendship and adventure.

Nate: The woodsman and protector of the Black Forest. With golden locks and a golden heart, he is a loyal friend to everyone and has a passion for music and poetry

Dean: An intimidating emo boy with all bark and no bite, shown through his baggy eyes and snarky attitude. He sees the world through a jaded lens but slowly opens up to Red and Nate as they show him kindness.

Goldie: Nate's twin and the Bartender of "Goldie's". She's the life of a party and a creator of chaos. She is either your closest friend or your worst nightmare, always breaking an awkward silence with her humor or breaking bones with her bare hands.

Leaf: Captain of the Black Forest Guards. A knight of the Kingdom, they stop the members of Black Forest from causing trouble, especially Red, Nate, and Dean. They are cold and intellectual but deeply care for their scouts Nader, Olive, and Kenny.
