Bio

I graduated from Penn State in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development.  I taught at various preschools throughout my years at Penn State, and after college, I taught for Montgomery County Head Start in Lansdale.   I then switched gears for a bit and went into the insurance industry working for my father right here in Boyertown.

However, for me, it did not compare to teaching and so I decided to come back to the education world (best decision ever!) and obtained my teacher certification from West Chester in 2010.   I went on to teach various grade levels at the Pottsgrove and Boyertown School Districts and absolutely love teaching 5th grade here at NHUF.   In May 2017, I received my M.Ed from West Chester in  Applied Studies of Teaching and Learning and in 2023 I received my M.Ed in Integrated Curriculum from The American College of Education. I am married and have four children  who attend Boyertown, Chase (15) and Carson (12) and two step-daughters, Elayna (12) and Elyse (11).   I have a very busy life, but wouldn’t change it for the world!!
