Meet Ms. Dufner

Meet Ms. Dufner:

• Hello! My name is Ms. Elizabeth Dufner and some of you may remember me from kindergarten, first, third, or fifth grade! I have been teaching in the district for the past nineteen years.  I am now starting my second year as an Intervention teacher at GES! I come from a super big family and have eight siblings and 27 nieces and nephews! I also have a little boy, Luke, who is eight years old and in third grade!  

• In my spare time, I love to travel and try to get somewhere new every few years. My favorite place in the world is Ireland and I was just there four years ago with my family!  For college, I attended Shippensburg University majoring in education with a minor in reading. I then received my Masters in Education from Gratz College in 2010.  I went on to complete an early literacy certification in 2015 and have a special passion in this area.   I love teaching and am grateful to work for the Boyertown School District. Your child is extremely lucky to be apart of such a wonderful school community, especially here at GES!
