Hello and welcome!

Thank you for taking time to visit my site. Teaching young learners  is my passion and I feel so lucky to be at Gilbertsville!  This year will be my 13th year as a learning support teacher at GES. I am a Lehigh University graduate with a masters degree in Special Education. I also earned my  bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, as well as my English as a Second Language (ESL) certification from Bloomsburg University.  I began my teaching career at Centennial School of Lehigh University in which I obtained extensive training in all areas of Special Education.

Outside the classroom, I love spending quality time with my family and friends. My husband Chris and I have a  5 year old son, Nolan. We are also puppy parents to our goldendoodle, Giggs. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, family game nights, and bike rides.  Our family loves riding rollercoasters at Dorney Park, playing on the beach at Ocean City, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills on Sundays.  😊
