About Me
Welcome! My name is Mrs. Kristen Sekkes and I am a fourth grade teacher at Gilbertsville Elementary School. I was born and raised right here in Boyertown and graduated from Boyertown High School. I graduated from Shippensburg University and am continuing my education at Cabrini College. This is my sixth year teaching here at Gilbertsville Elementary and my 13th year of teaching. I previously taught in the Spring-Ford and Perkiomen Valley school districts. I have taught in grades kindergarten through fourth grade.

When not at school, my three kids keep me very busy. When not traveling between after school activities and sporting events, I enjoy reading, hiking, and running.
