All About Me
I have been teaching for over 25 years, the last 22 in Boyertown Area School District. I started at Earl Elementary teaching 1st grade, and now this is my seventh year in 3rd grade. Before moving to Boyertown, I taught in Southern Lehigh School District, Collier County (Naples, Florida) School District, Central Bucks School District and Parkland School District. I have two Masters of Education, one from Wilkes University and my second from Kutztown University. My favorite place to teach has been and continues to be Boyertown Area School District. It is a special place with Earl Elementary being a hidden gem. I have been provided with wonderful people to work with, amazing students and fabulous families. I love being part of the community where I live, work and raise my children.
I love working with students in all ways! The past few years have provided me with the opportunity to grow as a teacher in so many new ways. I have appreciated the professionals that have been along my side and also the flexibility of the families I have worked with. I look forward to another new school year with new students.
My husband and I moved to Boyertown in 2003. We moved into our first home in the Borough and spent years doing major renovations. We moved out of town in 2016, a short 3 miles out into the country. We love our home with the beautiful rolling hills, rainbows and great memories we are making. We have 3 dogs, Walter, Macey and Joey.
We have two wonderful kids. Our daughter, Amanda, is starting 8th grade at Middle School-West this year. Middle school has proven to be a whole new adventure! She is looking forward to her final year in middle school. Tommy is excited to be in 4th grade at Earl this year! He is active in soccer, karate and parkour. Since I fulfill the role of parent at Earl, I also am very active in the excellent PTO for Earl Elementary. Thank you for taking your time to visit and if I haven't met you in person, be sure to say "Hi!" if we do!
