Meet Mrs. Jordan-Sao

Hello! I am so excited to be your child's fourth grade teacher this year! I would like to take some time to let you know a little more about myself!

     I grew up in Drexel Hill, PA and attended Upper Darby School District. I have two older brothers, a younger brother and younger sister. After high school, I attended West Chester University and studied Elementary Education with a minor in Reading. I was fortunate enough to spend a summer semester abroad in Rome, Italy! 

     Upon graduation from West Chester, I moved to Alexandria, VA and began teaching in Alexandria. During my seven years in Virginia, I taught fourth grade and second grade. In 2015, I moved back to PA and began teaching at New Hanover. 

I completed my master's degree in Literacy in 2021 from Wilke's University. 

     In addition to teaching, I love spending time with my family. I married my husband last year and have two wonderful step-children. In addition to my wonderful siblings and step-children, I also have three adorable nephews! I enjoy reading, writing, baking and traveling in my spare time.
