My name is Mrs. Schwenk (formerly, Miss Benfield), and I will be your 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade gifted teacher. I am excited to start my journey here at Middle School East. Dr. Schrode-Fries and I are working together to create activities that will allow you to brainstorm, engage in a growth mindset, problem-solve, collaborate, and best of all: INNOVATE. This class is going to change the way you think, and the way you approach problems in everyday life.
