My third year, I focused on non-small cell lung cancer, the most common type of lung cancer. As seen below, my published paper was written about demographic disparities and their relationship to survival/death rates in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (The Effect of Demographic Disparities on Survival Outcomes Among Patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer). I submitted this paper to WESEF, and competed with a completed poster in March 2026.
