Welcome to My Science Research Website!

For my first years of Science Research, I investigated if social relationships and interactions could protect cognition from negative or detrimental effects of stress.  These social relationships included marriage and dog ownership.  

I hope to continue researching and determining preventative strategies for cognitive decline, specifically for dementia patients. My research journey displays my increasing interest in cognitive science.

For my third and final year of Science Research, I have been looking at the effects of brief social media usage on short-term memory. Specifically, comparing visual and auditory short-term memory.
