Recognition Ads for Seniors

Deadline:  When we sell out of space!  Each year we sell about the same number of ads and we set aside pages for these ads.  Once they are full, we are not able to include any more ads.  

We have shared the following message for months via the FLHSA emails and a Principal message and our website:   Please purchase your ad before December 1st to guarantee we will have room.  After that time it is impossible to add pages to the book and therefore we may not be able to include more ads.  

To create and purchase a "recognition ad" for your senior, please visit this page:  yearbookforever.com and enter our school name. 

Please note:  If you do not see "Create a Recognition Ad" towards the bottom of the FLHS page, try clearing cookies or using "Incognito" mode in your browser.  It is there, but some security settings block some from seeing it!  

If you use the Walsworth templates you do not need to worry about sizing as it done for you, and the program will also reject with warnings if specifications are not met. If you upload your own finished ad, you will see the specs when you get to the upload page. But the file types supported are:

• An image with a .tif, .jpg, .jpeg, or .png extension.

• Page sizes:  The pages are vertically set in the book, so if you have a quarter page ad, it will appear vertically, so if you make the ad on a standard 9X12 vertically aligned page it will be perfect.  If it is a half page ad, the ad is placed horizontally - so create your ad on a half page - 5.5 inches tall and 9 inches wide.  A 1/8 size page is similar to the half in terms of layout.  It is wide or horizontal.  

• Resolution at least 250 dpi - the resolution is the most important thing.  300+ is ideal.  

• All recent phone cameras and most any device will automatically have at least that much resolution. Old photos should be checked in photoshop or some other program.
