First Year

During my first year in the Science research program, In the summer of my first year I explored a few different topics such as marshland conservation, grizzly bears, and epigenetics. Over the course of the year, I was introduced to new skills that broadened my scientific knowledge and I ended up choosing to study of river otters and their conservation as my topic for my second year. In May of my first year, I participated in the Somers Science Fair with a project about anthropogenic impacts on otters and their habitats.
