We are the Hillsdale Robotics Team, also known as Botball Team #0195, from San Mateo, CA.  In Hillsdale Robotics, we compete in a league called Botball, which is hosted by KIPR (KISS Institute for Practical Robotics). 

We make an autonomous robot that does tasks on a game board. Examples, include sorting out the "pom-poms" using different kinds of sensors, to grabbing a pom using claws that we make.  Each year, Botball releases a new game board and new sets of tasks. Our main goal is to score as many points as we can from the tasks that were assigned!

In the team, we constantly discuss what we can do to improve the robot's performance. When we solve a problem, there are always other challenges that are in front of us. But that does not stop us from giving up! We feel a challenge that we face is the most fun part of all robotics!

We have competed in a local competition called Regionals and an international competition called GCER. 

Every year, we put our best effort into these two competitions!
