Within our team, the programmer's primary role is bringing movement to the robot. They program the hardware on the robot and rewire or reprogram it depending on the situation. If we didn't have our programmers, our robot wouldn't be capable of performing any function and would just be a motionless metal toy.
The Innovator's main role on our team focuses mostly on managing both internal and external affairs. They handle outreach for the team and act as the creative media leads, managing social media accounts and sponsorships.
The builders within our group are, as their name suggests, the folks who design, construct, and maintain our robot both at our home base and during competitions. They brainstorm ideas and create concept designs on OnShape to develop the best mechanisms for maximizing our points.
My name is Samuel Stewart, this is my final year at Immaculata high school and this is my second year with FTC. I have always enjoyed solving problems and building stuff for fun. Robotics gives me a chance to practice CAD and work with different people. These will be helpful skills if I am to continue my education and make prosthetics.
My name is Daniyal Dewan, I am in grade 11 at Immaculata Highschool, and my first year with FTC. I have grown up watching videos and witnessed technical evolution of many robots and I have always wanted to build for fun. Taking Robotics enables me to practice CAD and helps learn to work with different people. These things and this course are good for me as I will continue my education.
My name is Valens Tawite, this is my grade 11 year at Immaculata high school and my first year doing robotics. I always enjoyed building and now I am enjoying learning how to use onshape and 3D print.
My name is Elohim Conteh. I am 16 years old this is my second year of immaculata high school, and this is my first year with FTC. I am interested in computer programming and SL. I enjoy learning new things and working with other people. I am excited to learn more about robotics programming and building robots this year.
Hi, I'm Patrick, a senior at Immaculata High School. I'm returning for my second year in robotics and my second turn as an Innovator. I came back to the program to dive deeper into the mechanics of creation and use those skills to advance my own pathways.
My name is Adam, I am a junior at Immaculate High School and I just got into FTC. I got into being an innovator because I have always seen myself as the leader type. I am very confident in my designs, ability to guide my partners and help them understand their own tasks.
My name is Sarah. I'm 16 years old in Gr.12 and I team lead of programming, I manage outreach, sponsorships, the software side of the robot and assist my teammates whenever they need help.
My name is Maives Charles, I'm in grade 11 in Immaculata Highschool and this is my first year with FTC. I always like building stuff. But in Robotics I want to try something new I want to start programing
