My favorite foods!
Definitely my favorite of the bunch. All it took to make it was putting a buncha lines down!
My favorite games!
This one is alright. It's not as good ad the food one but still; it's alright.
My favorite shows!
This one is my least favorite of the bunch. I mean, the backround itself is alright but the text just ruined it.
My favorite hobbies/pastimes!
This one was the most fun to make, and overall it's like my 2nd or 3rd favorite.
Hello! I'm Austin Casey, but you already know that..! Here are my four categories. Why do I have four categories instead of three, you 100% definitely asked? Well, when we were making our three categories one of my categories was 'games'. My teacher Mr. Hicks said that we cant do the games categories unless he sees the games and what images were doing along side the names. All of mine were okay so I got a pass, but that was after I already had my other tree categories. So Mr. Hicks said that I can just have a super long 'My Favorite Things' thing. It also took me much longer to do much, like make extra backgrounds or find images for this project. For all of the text and backgrounds n' stuff, that was made by photoshop and photopea! At first, our Data Licenses weren't coming in for whatever reason, so we used photopea for a lot of the time. Eventually we got 'em, and could users photoshop. Hey, wanna see my images I used? OF COURSE YOU DO!
'Ere they are! BEAUTIFUL, eh? I was on top of it, getting images left and right. Until... I found out I had to find backups. After I found backups for twelve images, I found backups FOR THOSE backups! I eventually decided on these images. Some of the images I used were good, but didn't meet the standers. One of my best images has small dimensions, so I couldn't use it. And a lot of the images I got were WEBP or PNGs when we had to have JPGs. Maybe backups arent that bad of an idea..
But enough talk of putting it together or the parts of it. Here it is! It took quite a bit to make, but I think it's worth the time.
SOOO.... Ya wanna know how I made this in more depth, eh? Well, I will! The very first thing we did was changing up our settings. I wasn't here on the first two days so I was behind when I started but.. I'm ahead of tons of people! Enough bragging. After we changed up our file explorer, we got to work on creating a word doc file thingy. We wrote down what we wanted our categories to be (Like shows, games, food, animals, ect.) I chose mine that were games, shows, and food but Mr. Hicks said, "No, that won't do," Apparently, I couldn't do the games category because he needed to see the images I had chosen first. I put it in parenthesis just in case and added: 'hobbies'. Mr. Hicks taught us how to look for JPEGs only via advanced search (so we could add a comment with the website name and thank them at the end of the video. Nice planning!) After I found my images, I put the website in the google docs, being the first one to finish I think (as always.. JGGHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Then, as you probably know.. I had to find BACKUPS! Noooo!!! i say that, but backups are actually a good idea.
