I started on SketchUp for Schools, and made cubes using the rectangle tool, the push pull tool, and finally the tape measure tool. we then had to stack the different sized cubes on top of each other. We then wrote our name in front of the stacked cubes, and saved the Sketchup file. But I personally prefer it unstacked.
Once we learned how Sketchup works we made a house in Sketchup. Mr. Hicks walked us through how to make the house. The hardest part of building this house was the windows, but in the end the house ended up looking good. After we built the house we had to paint the house with random colors, and then had to fill the paint with patterns. Once we finished painting the house with patterns we flipped the house inside out to take out all of the patterns that might have gotten inside the house instead of outside of the house.
Once we finished the house we put it into Blender and made a video of the house. We showed off our house and the windows that took forever. We also took photos of the house, and a picture of the details. You can see this above this paragragh.
Once we finished with the house we started on making our own model 3D in Sketchup for schools🏫. This was very fun because we go to be as creative 🎨as we wanted to. I wish I picked brighter colors for my design, but I do enjoy how it looks. I do not remember how I made this but I love❤️how it ended up😁.
Like the house 🏠we also had to make a video showing off our 3D model. I followed the same layout as the house, but some people who had a bigger model or interesting shape model followed a different layout. Mr. Hicks 👨🏻🦲 liked my model and decided to 3D print it. It was a lot smaller than I was expecting, and I wish I made it taller, but it looks good for my first model!
