(I used sketchup for this project) We had to make these cubes in order to get used to all of the making of cubes, rectangles, and all the tools. Then we wrote our names with the pencil tool. Mr Hick gave us the exact measurements in order to make the perfect cubes. Each cube increased by 5. The cubes might look small right now, but if you go into the program
I used Sketchup to creat this house. I had to make a window in each wall, which took not that much time, but if you zoom into it, then you will see many layers. The whole house is actually very detailed.
I used Blender to make this house so detailed. I think it makes it look harder to make than it actually was. I had to go back to sketchup because my house was not in the middle of the axis so that's why the camera angle looks wonky in this picture. Personally, I think Blender makes it look more like an actual househouse.
The Sketchup house looks more like an animated house and doesn't look as realistic. Sketchup lets you see all of the pencil strokes that you did.
The Blender house looks more realistic and like an actual house. All of the pencil line that you would be able to see on the Sketchup house, now all of those pencil lines are nice and smooth. All of the shadows also look more realistic.
If you have already done most of your house, then you can start doin some details! First go on the circle tool ⭕. Draw HOW big you want your door knob and WHERE you want it. Then you press the keyboard shortcut "P" for "push/pull". Make sure to get into the angle where you can see clearly how wide you want it. Click on the door knob. Push and adjust it to exactly how you want it.
To learn how to add even MORE detail, go to DATAtech.STUDIO to learn how to make details such as a chimney, circular window, fancy window embellishment, diamond shaped window, and valentine window.
You can see how the frame is surrounding the floor and the floor. It actually is surrounding the whole house.
On this Blender house, the frame from the door is also surrounding the whole house, but the image just doesn't show it. This one from Blender is more ndetailed.
go to 3:04 in the video to see my house in the bottom right corner!
I keyframed 2 times on this video. I keyframed at the beginning and at the end. The first one was 45. The last one is 405.
I keyframed 3 times in this video. I keyframed at the beginning, middle, and end. The first one was 45. The middle one was 405. The last one was also 45 for it to make a complete rotation.
I struggled to import my house. I kept downloading it but for some reason it did not go inside of Blender. Once I found out how to do it correctly, I was able to do it. Then when I was going to render it, it was impossible to get the perfect angle (as you can see in the first Blender picture above). I found out that it was doing that because my house was not on the centered axis, but instead, it was on the corner of the axis. I had to go back to sketchup and move the whole house to the correct position.
