Hello there, my name is Derick Lau and sister to Amy Lau, which previously attended here. I'm a student at DATA Magnet Program at Ed White middle school. This is a website to show what I created during my tech classes and my core classes during my time at DATA . I might also do updates after 7th Grade, every once and awhile, but i'm not sure about that yet. DATA stands for Design and Technology Academy, where we work with various programs to design stuff and learn more about tech.
HEADERS
Some of the headers used in this portfolio were the Adobe Firefly AI tools, which is completely free, and you can generate a texture with a prompt specifically for text to use as headers, or logos in their websites/videos.
The other 2D headers were made with Photoshop, with outer Glow and stroke used in some of them. The Backgrounds of them were made using gradients, then dragging their appearance the mix the color to the way we like.
One of the headers in 3D models is made in SketchUp, with the text being made with the" 3D Text" and you simply have to type and place the text once it has been created. To add differentiating color, make two lines separately, then use the paint bucket tool to paint the text what color you please.

apparently, the computers in Mr. Hick's class have 32gb of ram, while Mr. Gonzalez's computers have 16. (idk why I'm saying this but...) possibly for blender, adobe programs, etc.
