In The Beginning...
This is my cube practice. This is was my first assignment in the 3D Model unit. Casey is the one on top of the blocks. I made the blocks by making a square, push/pull the square into a cube, moving the cubes on top of each other, and then putting Casey on top.
These are my experiments that I tried out on the first day of the 3D Modeling unit. Some of the tools I used were push/pull tool, square tool, circle tool, and the eraser tool.
3D House
This is my version Sketchup of my 3D house! My favorite color is purple, so I made my house purple. I first had the house in only color, but then I changed the color to textures, so now it looks like this!
This is my Blender version of my 3D house! I had to export this as a collada, then I downloaded the file, and lastly I imported it into blender. The house isn't as bright as the sketchup version, but it still looks good.
This is my sketchup version of my details view of my 3D house. I decided not to use Mr. Hicks simple idea of the door knob, and make my own. For the bottom part of my model that's sticking out I used the follow me tool.
This is my blender version of my details view of my 3D house. The door sides are much darker than the sketchup version, but I honestly like this version better than the original.
This is my 10 second house video. I started with a 3 second video, but then I made it longer into 10 seconds. Enjoy!!!
3D Model
This is my sketchup version of my 3D model. My inspiration was inside a kings castle. Mr. Hicks said it needed to be two colors, so I made it purple and pink.
This is my blender version of my 3D model. I love the color of this model because it makes the pink look a little more purple.
This is the top view of my sketchup 3D model. It looks pretty cool when you see the top of it.
This is the top view of my blender 3D model. I'm a little disappointed that the shadows are in the way, but other than that I like it.
Finally, this is my 3D model 10 second video! I kept messing up on the camera moving part, but then I realized I didn't press the camera. I hope you like it!
