Cubes 🧊
This is how we started in SketchUp!! We were introduced to new tools and keyboard shortcuts. We learned how to measure the cubes using the guides and the push-pull tool to make the cubes 3D. We also learned how to write our name using the line tool!!
This house is obviously unpainted and doesn't have a lot of detail yet. We made sure to correctly measure the house to how Mr. Hicks wanted it because it was going to get graded.
We also followed the directions in Mr. Hicks's videos and learned to create this house 😉
This is a close-up of my house!! 😍
This was our second project that we worked on. We learned the measurements of the house, and used the measuring tape to justify it. We made our rectangles, used the push pull to make the house 3D, and we offset the house. We then added more details, and learned new tools on the way. Each process we were being graded on, to make sure the measurements were correct. Then we used the bucket tool to learn how to select what you want, and paint it instead of going one by one to paint it. Lastly, we added the textures and final touches.
This is my 3D model sculpture that I created using SketchUp, following the measurements that were required. I used different tools such as push/pull, offset, line, tape measurer, bucket tool, and more. i've made other ones to try and experiment with, but I liked this one the best.
This the full 3D model animation I made individually making the background, model animation, and text using Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
