Work First, then Play
Should kids be allowed to play games on weekdays(school days)?
I think they should, or at least after they get their work done. As a kid that used to only be able to play on the weekends even if I had all my work done, it was kinda frustrating I did everything I was supposed to and didn’t get rewarded even if I cleaned the whole house.
Kids should be able to play games on the weekdays, and if you are a parent you might agree with me too. I feel like if the kid has everything done and has good grades with barely any work missing should be able to play the game, especially if they cleaned the house. When people say, “Work first, then play.” What's the point of that if it's only work and work some more? Think about it, telling your kids that they can play after they do their work and chores would make them do it way faster, it would motivate them to do their work as fast as possible. Imagine your kid cleaning up when there is nothing to look forward to; It would make them work slower.
The kids would also have more time to play with their friends, have fun, and have more playtime. I think as long as the kid in question does their work and keeps their grades up as well as doing their chores they should be able to play the game, but make them go outside or they will get too attached to the game like my little brother is.
A lot of people should play too because you can make money by just doing what you love! Isn't that nice? But kids should play the game no more than 8 hours at a time it would make their IQ decrease and they will be distracted 24/7.
This is my persuasion project, I hope you think it's good.
Two crazy lifes
This is Brian the person I will be comparing my life to, Brian is a character in Hatchet by Gary Paulsen.
How was Brian´s life? Brian´s life is hard, if I were him I would have been crying almost everyday, his parents are broken up/divorced like mine are, I used to go to another state to visit my dad over the summer just like he does, but non like me his plane crashed, in water so he was lucky for that. The cause of the plane crashing was because the pilot had a heart attack.
Sadly he passed away.
My life is not as hard as his is, and I´m not as tough as him, I mean he's living in the wilderness,
I probably could never, I wouldn't have lasted a day, I mean I'd probably last a week or a few, while he is over here lasting months and all he had was a hatchet, he had a lot of struggles, a moose attacked him, a porcupine attacked him, and even a tornado! He is trying to find shelter in the wilderness, and I've already found shelter in an apartment, that proves how blessed I am.
I´ve had a lot of struggles but they weren't as hard as his, if I were him I would have stayed in the same spot and layed down having a good sleep, but instead he goes out of the cave or shelter and does a lot of things which is cool to me, I´m just very lazy, and plus I would have died from starvation unless I unalive a moose or something. But let's be forreal
if Brian were able to survive for that long, I think we could, but surely you wouldn't mock mother nature. Right?
So, here is my Hachet mini essay, I got a pretty good grade for it. I could do better now that I know more and all thaat good stuff.
