The EM or electromagnetic spectrum is the range of all types of EM radiation. Scientists use the EM Spectrum to make applications like medical images and cancer treatments. Amplitude is the height of the wave from the trough to the crest. Frequency is the pitch of the wave, like high or low pitch. Wavelength is the space in-between the crest or trough of each wave.

Wavelength is the space in-between the crest or trough of each wave. Radio waves have the longest waves and gamma rays have the shortest. Wavelengths are related to energy because the shorter the wavelength gets, the more energy there is. So gamma rays would have the most energy and radio waves would have the least.
