Think Outside the Box Thursdays
These are my think outside the box thursdays. On think outside the box thursdays you take a image that is something and make it something different.
Photoshop Scavenger Hunt
Photoshop Scavenger Hunt consisted of 6 creative challenges.
Challenge 1 was to install and choice a new fount or install one and type your name with it. Than you are to add a layer style. (drop shadow, gradient, bevel, stroke, etc.)
Challenge 2 was to find a picture of your favorite animal and remove the background, than place it in a fun environment .
Challenge 3 was to take a everyday object like a pencil then use the Hue/Saturation or the Color Replacement tool, and change the color to a wild/unrealistic color.
Challenge 4 was double vision you duplicate a picture of a object and make the illusion that it was in two places at once.
Challenge 5 was movie poster remix where you pick a movie or show you like and recreate a mini poster for it. You had to have a image cutout, a title in bold fount, and at least on filter effect.
Challenge 6 was gradient glow up where you created a gradient background and blended atleast two shapes into two it.
File Frenzy
File frenzy is where you spam as much as can in a folder and than have to organize it. I choice to organize by file type. This easier if you set the view to content, and go to sort by and set it to type. This allows you to just drang them all in at once by type.
Spooky silhouette is a assignment where you make a halloween scene like a silhouette in photoshop. To do this you can use the brush tool and shapes. In order make things like the ghost I changed the opacity, and added a outer glow. Make sure to sort the layers it makes it a lot easier.
Cereal Box Design Project was where we had to make design of a cereal box that would be on the selves in Adobe Photoshop. I choice a witches theme. The cereal box had to have 3 blurbs, follow Typography standers and 3 graphic design principles. A blurb is a short description of something written for promotional purposes, and in Typography you usually only use two to three fonts.
We had to find a image of a skyline, and edit out a couple of the building. You would than add some sort of mystical things over top. Lastly you had to add effects to make it look like it was there. Things like drop shadow.
