⚙Tech Apps is one of the main classes for DATA students. This class focuses more on getting used to everyday apps, such as Google Forms, rather than super complicated ones, such as Adobe Illustrate. You will also learn how to touch type, typing with all five fingers without looking at the keyboard, which is a skill you will need a lot in the future. Most of the assignments in this class are straightforward, and can be pretty fun at times, but just because this class is simple doesn't mean you get to slack off! Slacking off will result in you getting your music privileges taken away, so you can't just sit around and watch YouTube the whole time.⚙

🗨There is Quote of the Week, which Mr. Garcia, the teacher, will give you a quote and a Google doc. You will have to type 3-4 sentences on what you think the quote could mean. You have a week to finish it, and most of the quotes are pretty simple. The best tip I can give you is to finish it on Monday and not worry about it for the rest of the week. Some of the quotes are pretty cool, too, but most of them are just inspirational quotes from famous people.🗨

📘Mr. Garcia posts a lot of Blooket reviews and tests. Blooket is an informational quiz game, where you can choose the game you want to play, and you play! The questions in the Blooket really depend on the subject it's about, but I'd say most of the questions are straightforward. For tests, you will have to take the score you got, displayed when you finish all the questions and end the Blooket, and tell it to Mr. Garcia. That's how he grades you!📘

🟩Maybe 2-3 times in the year, Mr. Garcia will give you a Minecraft Education assignment. The assignment can range from building with a preselected theme, to doing a whole adventure on a world he made! Of course, you might have to write a few sentences on what it was like, or take an image of the thing you built and make a Canva presentation about it, but otherwise, it's pretty fun!🟩

🔵🟣There's a lot of Canva assignments you will have to do. These Canva assignments are pretty simple, though. Most of the assignments are storytelling or informational. I personally don't like these assignments, because I don't know how to decorate the slides. The assignments he gives you are most likely to be about computer related topics.🔵🟣
