Welcome to Android Apps
Welcome to Android Apps
In android apps we coded apps using the website MIT App Inventor. This was probably my favorite project. I really liked how when you coded you could see every little thing fall perfectly into place and work. We made one big app with little apps/games within it. These include Hello Codi, Talk to Me, Ball Bounce, Digital Doodle, and Paint Pot. :-)
This is the QR code to my multi app. Basically if someone scans this they can download the app to their device to use! I used The-QRcode-Generator to make the QR code. What I did was save the link to my app and than uploaded it to this website where it made the QR code. Its a little more complicated but in simple terms thats all I did.
Hello Codi
Hello Codi was the first app I made on my multi app. It is an app where if someone touches the picture of the bee shown, it will make a buzzing noise. This was a very easy app to make, envolving very little coding and basically just putting buttons on the screen.
Talk to me
Talk To Me was the hardest app to test because the tablets wouldn't let it speak because of the brand. So when we needed to test it for a grade with a different device, I was terrified. And it worked! I was so happy. Anyway, it basically where you type something in and it says what you type.
Ball Bounce
Ball Bounce was a game where you push the ball and it moves. I had to program it to where it doesn't get stuck in corners and it bounces off walls. It's fun to throw two at one and see which one wins.
Digital Doodle
Digital Doodle was like a warmup for the next mini app, Paint Pot. This app is a drawing app with only a few colors since it's starter app. It was pretty cool to code and see everything come together. I also added a feature where if you shake it, it clears.
Paint Pot
Paint Pot was my favorite app to make. I added a bunch of colors so people can color and draw what ever they want. It was so cool to see everything finnaly come together.
