This page is to show what I make in Sketchup and Blender and to explain how I made the things I did.
This is a image of 3 cubes that I stacked so that I could get used to moving things on the x, y, and z axis. I also made my name at the bottom with the free style tool.
I made the houses by using Sketchup and making the first rectangle 12',30' then you make a second rectangle 20',10'. Then I push/pulled up 10' and offset 6'. Then I made a door with the follow me tool. In order to make the windows I copied the wall/side I wanted the window I wanted on and then I started to make the window. How to make the window start with a rectangle of a reasonable size and offset it then use the line tool to make smaller rectangle and then offset that and use the push/pull tool to give the window dimension (replace rectangle with a circle for circular windows).
This is a 10 second video of my house spinning in Blender. I made the keyframes the same in the beginning and the end which makes it loop.
These are images of my first model(left) called Rainbow Steps and my second model(right) called Multicolored illusion. Below you can see Multicolored illusion In Blender with shadows and more realistic lighting. I made Multicolored illusion by making a square, and pulling it up 3' then making a grid. I cut the squares on the grid into triangles. Then I pulled the triangles up until I got to the square in the middle. From there I made four triangles from the square and offset the triangles making little towers. I made a video using Multicolored illusion that is able to loop.
These images are of my most recent model which is called ⭐Star illusion⭐.
