This is the first thing we did in sketchup. We learned all the controls like rectangle, push/pull, and many more. We just used the rectangle tools to create these boxes and we used push/pull to make them 3D. Lastly we used the move tool to move the boxes on top of each other.
This is my unpainted house I made in sketchup. This is my model before I added color and removed color
This is my house that I have created in sketchup. First I took two blocks and put them together, then I started to make the roof by push pulling the house on the top. Next I made the gutter by offsetting the bottom of the house and pulling it up to the roof. Then I copied the wall that I wanted to make the window on and I took the rectangle tool to make that shape. I then deleted the wall and dragged the window over to the wall on the house. I then copied the window to put it on all the other walls. After that I put the door with the rectangle tool, added the bottom with the follow me tool, and found a design for the roof and walls.
This is a close up picture of my house. I just zoomed up close in the camera view and rendered the image. After I did this it automatically saved to my 3d modeling folder.
This is my finished house spin in blender. I added the key frames to make it spin so I can show the details I worked on in the time period I had. Overall I think it turned out well and if I had more time I could have done cool details and designs.
These are my unpainted models that I made in Sketchup. Unpainted models are the original models made, but a version of it before it is painted!
These are my models that I made in sketchup. First I copied the unpainted file and saved a new one and I started painting it! I added the neon green in the first one so when I was ready to export it to blender I could make it glow on cycles mode. The second one I made little slots in it so that I could make it glow.
These are pictures of my model from different views. This version of my picture is on cycles. Cycles can make a model more focused and clear to see and that's what made it glow! As you can see in my model it looks smooth and clear to see what is colored and where the shadows are.
This is my sculpture spin I made with my first model. I exported it from sketchup and imported it into blender. I then gave the sculpture keyframes so that I could make it spin and I did that to the camera to make sure I got a view from all round!
