Elar writing above!

My core classes are what you would find at a usual middle school but they are ALL honors classes.

I don't know how different that is from regular classes but apparently teachers don't spend as long on lessons. I'm also in GT ELAR pretty cool.

At this point in the year I have a 90 average. I started the year in health and I am going to end it in P.E. Also little side note, every kid, Ed White and DATA has to take a CPR test at some point in the year. Boys do it in the first semester and girls in the second.

Almost all core classes for DATA students are on google classroom which makes it easy to stay organized.

ELAR:

Everything with reading and writing for example, We had to make a memoir during the 3rd term this year.

Here is the link: click HERE

The memoirs took a couple of weeks to plan out but it was really fun.

We already had our STAAR tests for ELAR this year as well as math.

The only thing left for ELAR this year is reading classic novels and learning about Greek Gods.

Math: As I said earlier we have already done the STAAR tests for math and ELAR. For the rest of the year in math our teacher is out getting, and recovering from surgery, so we are only doing reviews right now, and probably for the rest of the year.

Sci: all year in science we had fun things to do with labs and experiments. We covered a lot of bases; chemistry, geology states of matter, At one point we read a book about astronomy.

World cultures: In this class we had most of our projects throughout the year.

Cultures around the world, create your world, a bazillion pear decks.

Create your world was actually really interesting. We've had four parts so far, each with varying difficulty and length. for example we had to create seasons, biology, a map of the world with regions labeled, jobs, currency, political parties, favorite books and movies, and a superhero.

World cultures was probably the most info-heavy class.

Through out the year we've had several map tests on countries and states. The first one was on The 50 states of the U.S. and the most recent one was northern Africa with only 14 countries.
